Fuse streamlines merchant onboarding experience for Harper with Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridge
Harper’s award winning technology enables luxury brands to deliver the in-store shopping experience to online customers. Fuse were chosen to evaluate, design and develop a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) integration for Harper that will make it significantly easier for retailers to adopt the technology on their eCommerce sites.
Harper gives customers a risk-free way to shop with brands online through their ‘Try at Home’ service that is delivered by an expert style concierge. The service helps overcome the key barriers to shopping for personal goods online including size and fit uncertainty, the hassle of returns and having to purchase items before customers have had a chance to see them. This is particularly helpful for new customers who haven’t yet experienced the quality of brands and don’t know their size or fit. Harper’s amazing bespoke service increases average transaction values by 45% on average, builds customer loyalty and elevates the customer experience.
The SFCC cartridge allows merchants to add Harper to their online cart page and as a delivery option. This allows customers to book a time to try on as many items as they wish before purchasing the item
As a long-term and trusted Salesforce partner, Fuse had the knowledge and expertise to design and deploy a cartridge that is fully compliant with the Salesforce ecosystem. The cartridge launch follows a rigorous evaluation phase to determine the best way to approach the tech and how the solution can be optimised for SFCC. It’s integrated via the Harper API which is REST-based and supports JSON. Harper also has a helpful Postman collection which helps with implementation.
Since launch, luxury jewellery brand, Annoushka, has been one the first retailers to have benefited from the integration. Raffaella Cara, Digital Director at Annoushka said:
“By leveraging a pre-built integration and working with our digital commerce partner Tryzens, we were able to have Harper up and running in a fraction of the time & cost. We’ve already had some amazing feedback from our customers on the service and it’s really helped us create an experience offline that parallels those that we can create in-store”
When asked why Fuse were chosen to deliver this exciting project, Liam Young, Founder & CEO of Harper said:
“We wanted to work with a partner who could bring expertise working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and help us to build the most seamless cartridge for our clients using the platform. The team at Fuse had that experience in abundance. The team were helpful throughout the process and helped us to build a robust cartridge which enables retailers on Salesforce to integrate Harper in as little as 15 days”
Andy Burton, Tryzens CEO has also said of the partnership:
“Fuse are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Harper in the design of this Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridge. Harper utilises the most advanced digital commerce technology available to provide a truly unique online shopping experience. Using our expertise and experience in custom building commerce integrations we looked forward to helping Harper reach more merchant and expand their opportunities.”
